Meet dR. MATT SHELLY
Dr. Matthew Shelly was born and raised in Houma, LA. After graduating from H.L. Bourgeois High School, he attended Nicholls State University where he received his bachelors in health sciences with an associate in emergency medicine. As a paramedic, Dr. Shelly witnessed pain, suffering, and even death. He knew that he could help people live healthier lifestyles and it was that passion that led him to Texas Chiropractic College. During his time at TCC, Dr. Shelly served on the student chapter of American Chiropractic Association Board and lobbied in Washington DC for 3 years.
Dr. Shelly has been practicing Chiropractic since 2009. He is certified in total body treatment through Active Release Technique as well as Graston Technique and Dry Needling. He has a passion for helping people and enjoys building relationships with his patients and watching their health become fully restored.
Dr. Shelly resides in Prairieville with his wife, Ashley, and their children, Bennett. Olivia and Hayes. He enjoys being outdoors, fishing, playing sports, CrossFit, and spending quality time with his family. He also enjoys going to LSU sporting events with his family.
